Last time I checked, it had over 10 million installs on Google Play alone, which shows just how popular it is. The app itself is free to download and use, and you don't have to create an account just to browse parts or look up repair info. But if you want to order parts for in-store pickup or delivery, you'll need to register. There are in-app purchases since you're buying actual auto parts through the app, and there are no in-app ads, which is nice for a change.

Using the app is pretty straightforward. You can search for a specific part by typing in your car's year, make, and model. Or, you can look up common maintenance items like oil filters or brake pads. One tip I picked up is to always check the "Other Vehicles" tab on a part's page. Sometimes a part fits more cars than just yours, and it's good to know. Also, the app has a feature where you can scan your car's VIN barcode to get an exact match for parts. It saves a ton of time when you're at the store. Another thing I do is save my cars in the app under "My Vehicles" so I don't have to re-enter the details every time I need something.

Compared to other auto parts apps like Advance Auto Parts or O'Reilly Auto Parts, I find myself going back to the AutoZone app for a few reasons. For one, the interface feels cleaner and less cluttered. The search results seem more accurate, especially for older cars. I also like that the app shows you real-time inventory at your local store, so you don't waste a trip. And the "Fix Finder" feature, which gives you step-by-step repair guides, is something the other apps don't have as polished. It just feels like the app was made by people who actually work on cars, not just sell parts.
