My Love - Relationship Counter

I have been using an app on Google Play called My Love - Relationship Counter, which was made by a developer named Björn Bartels. It is basically a little tool to track how long you have been in a relationship. I first saw it when I was looking for something to mark the anniversary with my partner, and I found it had been around since at least 2014. It is free to download and install on the Google Play Store, and I think it is also on the Apple App Store. I do not think it has a huge number of installs compared to bigger apps, maybe a few hundred thousand, but that is fine for a niche app like this. You do not have to register an account to use it, which I really like. You just open the app and set the date. There is no in-app purchase or ads either, which is a relief since I hate those apps that pop up ads every five seconds.

When you use this app, it is super simple. You download it from Google Play, then you just enter your anniversary date. The app then shows you a counter of days, weeks, months, and years. There are also some nice extras like a heart meter or a countdown to the next anniversary. A tip I would give is to set the notification option so the app reminds you about your milestone days, like 1000 days or something. Another tip is to use the widget feature on your phone, so you can see the days counted right on your home screen without opening the app. It is really a set-it-and-forget-it kind of tool.

Compared to other similar apps I have tried, like Love Days or The Couple, I think My Love - Relationship Counter is much less cluttered. Those other apps try to be full social networks or include too many features like shared to-do lists or chat functions. I just wanted a simple counter that works without needing to create a profile or invite my partner to some shared account. With this app, you do not have to worry about privacy or login details. That is why I chose it over the others. It just feels like a solid, straightforward app you can trust.
